Lily is trained and handled by her co-owner, Tracy Bouchard. These pictures are from the HRC Guns Up hunt test in Dover, Maine where she finished her Started Retriever title on Sat and was the test dog on Sunday. I am so proud of Tracy and Lily as she is the first AKC dog Tracy has owned, trained, and earned a title on. This is quite a feat for both of them as Lily almost lost her life when she was hit by a car last September, 2007. She fractured her pelvis and had to be on crate rest for 3 months. She currently has a clean bill of health, but due to the injury she had to be spayed. Look for Tracy and Lily at the upcoming Maine hunt tests as she will be competing at the Junior level for Junior Hunter title.
The United Kennel Club Hunting Retriever program is similar to the the American Kennel Club Hunt Test program with a few exceptions. At the conclusion of all tests there is a ribbon ceremony and if you have completed a title you get a shower!! Well as you can see from the pictures above Tracy got her shower for finishing Lily's Started Retriever title! She didn't care as long as she got that ribbon!!

Tracy, Corrie, and I were at a PHRC training day held at Maranatha Kennels, owned by members June & Stephen Cawood, in Buxton, Maine when I took this picture. I don't know why but it just looks so peaceful to me.
